AJBUTI BAR
Refund, Return, Exchange, Cancellation & Shipping Policy
Effective Date: 09/21/2026
AjButi Bar wigs are made to order and prepared specifically for each customer. Please review this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Made-to-Order & Final Sale
Because our wigs are made to order, all sales are final once payment has been submitted. AjButi Bar does not accept customer-requested cancellations, returns, or exchanges due to change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect selection, or personal preference.
This policy does not limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
2. Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled after payment has been received, including orders placed using a payment plan, except where cancellation or a refund is required by applicable law.
If AjButi Bar cannot fulfill an order within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by law.
3. Processing Time
Our standard processing time is up to 14 business days.
Processing begins after payment is successfully received and all required order information, measurements, and customization details have been provided.
Processing time is separate from shipping transit time. Business days are Monday through Friday and exclude applicable U.S. holidays.
4. Shipping
AjButi Bar currently ships to U.S. addresses only.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. Tracking information will be provided when available.
Expedited shipping, when offered, does not shorten the 14-business-day production period unless AjButi Bar confirms otherwise in writing.
Shipping estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
5. Shipping Delays
AjButi Bar makes reasonable efforts to meet the stated processing timeframe. Delays may occur due to carriers, severe weather, supply issues, natural disasters, or other circumstances outside our control.
If we cannot ship within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Misdelivered Packages
Customers are responsible for providing a correct delivery address.
If tracking shows a package as delivered but it cannot be located, please check with household members, neighbors, building management, and the carrier before contacting AjButi Bar.
AjButi Bar does not guarantee reimbursement for packages reported stolen after confirmed delivery. We will assist with applicable carrier claims when possible.
7. Returns
Returns are not accepted for change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect selection, or personal preference.
Wigs that have been worn, installed, cut, colored, bleached, chemically processed, washed, styled, altered, or otherwise modified are not eligible for return based on a defect claim unless otherwise required by law.
8. Exchanges
AjButi Bar does not offer exchanges for customer preference or change of mind.
An exchange or replacement may be considered only when:
AjButi Bar sent the wrong item;
the order materially differs from what was purchased due to an AjButi Bar fulfillment error; or
the wig has a qualifying manufacturing or workmanship defect.
9. Defects & Fulfillment Errors
If you believe your wig arrived with a manufacturing defect or fulfillment error, contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
Email ajbutibar@gmail.com and include:
Order number
Customer name
Description of the issue
Clear photos of the wig and issue
Any additional information reasonably requested
Do not cut, color, bleach, install, wash, glue, sew, alter, or otherwise modify the wig before reporting an issue.
A qualifying defect generally means a material manufacturing or workmanship issue that existed when the product was delivered. Normal characteristics of human hair, minor variations, disclosed product characteristics, or damage caused by customer handling are not necessarily defects.
10. Resolution of Approved Claims
If AjButi Bar determines that a qualifying defect or fulfillment error occurred, we may, as appropriate:
repair the wig;
replace the wig;
provide another appropriate remedy; or
issue a refund when appropriate.
Do not return an item without receiving authorization first.
If a return is authorized because of an eligible defect or AjButi Bar fulfillment error, we will provide return instructions.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method, subject to the payment provider's procedures.
Refund posting times vary by bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Where a refund is required by applicable law, AjButi Bar will process it according to applicable legal requirements.
12. Payment Plans
Payment plans may be offered through the payment provider available at checkout.
Payment-plan purchases remain subject to this policy and the payment provider's terms. A payment plan does not create a general right to cancel, return, or exchange a made-to-order wig.
Approved refunds on payment-plan purchases will be handled through the applicable payment provider.
13. Incorrect, Refused, or Unclaimed Packages
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
If a package is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery, or failure to retrieve the package, additional shipping charges may apply before reshipment.
Because orders enter production after payment, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be accommodated.
14. Customer-Caused Damage
AjButi Bar is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, storage, washing, drying, excessive heat, chemicals, coloring, bleaching, cutting, adhesives, alterations, or failure to follow provided care instructions.
15. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have an issue with your order, please contact AjButi Bar so we can review it.
AjButi Bar may provide relevant order records, communications, production documentation, photographs, and tracking information to a payment processor or financial institution when responding to a payment dispute.
16. Policy Changes
AjButi Bar may update this policy from time to time. The policy applicable at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Customer Acknowledgment

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
BUSINESS OWNER — LEGAL REVIEW
Before publishing, have a Maryland attorney review:
No-cancellation policy — especially how it applies to orders that cannot be shipped within the promised timeframe.
48-hour defect reporting requirement — confirm it does not improperly eliminate non-waivable consumer rights.
No-return/no-exchange provisions — confirm how Maryland law applies to your specific made-to-order wigs.
Payment-plan language — make sure it matches your payment provider's terms.
Shipping/processing promises — confirm your 14-business-day timeframe complies with applicable federal requirements.
For your website, consider requiring customers to check a box at checkout confirming they have reviewed the policy before payment.
